Churchlands Senior High School was built in separable portions, these were as follows:
Separable Portion 1 (CARPARK)
New car park, temporary storage facilities and new power supply to bore.
Separable Portion 2 (SPORTS HALL)
Construction of a sports hall.
Upgrade of Western Power transformer compound and new sewer extension.
New fire service connection, construction of fire booster enclosure including tanks and pumps.
New car park and associated external works.
Separable Portion 2a & 2b (EXTERNAL WORKS, REFURBISHMENT)
Construction of netball courts, landscape works and a covered walkway.
Stormwater drainage outfall to oval. Re-surface existing road. Refurbishment of seminar and staff rooms.
Separable Portion 3 (GENERAL CLASSROOMS, SCIENCE and ARTS)
Removal of hazardous material and demolition of the bike sheds and shelters.
Construction of a general classroom block.
Car parking areas, external works, landscaping work and covered walkways.
Separable Portion 4 (T&E WORKSHOPS)
Removal of hazardous materials and demolition of existing gymnasium and uniform shop.
Construction of T&E workshops.
Car parking, associated external works, landscaping works.
Alterations and additions to the existing building at 20 Lucca Street, Churchlands. Key work activities included:
Demolition, site and civil works, structural steelwork (fabrication offsite with erection of steelwork onsite). Concrete works such as formwork/reinforcement with pouring onsite.
Services (electrical, mechanical, fire, hydraulics, civil drainage and AV). Finishing trades (e.g. joinery, flooring, ceiling and partitions, windows and glazing).
There were additional refurbishment works to the dance studio, canteen, staff study, health centre, student services and administration block.
